Jubilee Prayer - 4th Month

AND THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE PUT UPON HIS SHOULDER

For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our King; He will save us. Isaiah 33:22

Hello Brethren,
I welcome to the fourth month and the second trimester of our jubilee prayer for Nigeria. Thanks for your participation, the Lord who sees in secret will reward you openly.
I am sure you will agree with me that one of the major problem in Nigeria is leadership, that is why our focus this month shall be "putting the government upon His shoulder" (taken from Isaiah 9:6) To put the government upon His shoulder is to commit it into His hands and ask Him to take over; then He will become our judge, our lawgiver and our king. When He is the Judge, there will be justice, truth, compassion, impartiality and freedom from oppression. When He is our Lawgiver, there is righteousness, godliness, morality and the fear of God; the Bible will become the standard for our nation and the nation will be exalted. When He is our King, there will be an end to tyranny, greediness, selfishness and abuse of power. There will be peace, and violence shall no longer be heard in our nation.
For Nigeria to experience jubilee, our government must experience a transformation and reformation from He who rules in the affairs of men; that is why we are praying this month.
Prayer Points
1. Let us decree the Lordship of the Lord Jesus over Nigeria; let us enthrone Him militantly and decree that henceforth, He will take over the affairs of the nation.
2. Lord, this month we put the government of Nigeria upon your shoulder and we proclaim you as The Judge, The Lawgiver and The King of our nation.
3. I samuel 16:1 says, "And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long will thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel?..." There are many leaders in Nigeria today that are still in power/positions, but have been rejected by God because of their crooked/wicked ways. All our complaints and expression of dissatisfaction about them are like mourning before the Lord if we are not taking action. This month, I can hear the word of the Lord to Samuel coming directly to us. How long are we going to sit and mourn for our Sauls? It is time for us to pray forth the "Davids" who will replace the "rejected Sauls" in every level of government and power in Nigeria. As many as God has rejected but are still reigning in Nigeria, let us pray and tell God that it is time to replace them. Ask God to clean the entire government and get rid of every unprofitable leader and every leader that will constitute a burden to Nigeria if allowed to continue.
4. After building the wall of Jerusalem, Nehemiah the reformer, appointed his brother Hanani to be in charge of Jerusalem because he was a faithful man and he feared God. What a great lesson to learn! Over the years, christians have been fighting the battle of the Kingdom only on one side, but if we neglect the government and the political side, whatever we build can always be pulled down by the satanic representatives in power. Just like Nehemiah, we are going to call forth our brothers (brethren in the Lord, not just blood-related brothers)who fear God and have been anointed for this purpose, that they will begin to emerge from their hidden places with the mandate of God upon their lives, to replace the "Sauls" that have been rejected.
5. In order for the government of this nation to be successful according to the plan of God, it has to follow biblical order. The order I see in the Bible is that the people do not only have a secular government, they also have national spiritual leaders who work with them. For example, the book of Haggi talked about Zerubbabel the governor and Joshua the high priest, working together in the rebuilding of the temple. As we look forward to a new Nigeria and our season of Jubilee, pray and ask God to raise national spiritual leaders, specific prophets to the nation, "Joshuas" who will work hand in hand with our "Zerubbabels" to bring about the purpose of God for our nation.
6. Sanitizing Aso Rock - Let us sanitize the entire Aso Rock with the blood of Jesus. In other words, let come against every unclean spirit, every demonic initiation and attachment and every demonic watchdog that is interfering with the government of the nation. Let us dethrone them in the name of Jesus and turn over the entire place to the Lord Jesus.
7. The only governmental system that work on earth are those based upon biblical principles. Let us pray and decree in agreement that we establish the governmental system of Nigeria upon biblical principles and so shall it be in Jesus name.
