Jubilee Prayer - 6th Month

Connecting Nigeria with Her Destiny

(Prophetic Intercession)

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I send it. - Isaiah 55:10

Hello Brethren,
I welcome you again to the sixth month of our jubilee prayer, by now I'm assuming that you are obviously pregnant (burdened) for a good cause. The Lord will give us an answer of peace.
This month, we are moving forward by bringing to the place of prayer, prophecies about Nigeria for divine activation. It is important to know that Nigeria is in her prophetic timing and prophetic prayers are required to bring about prophetic manifestation and fulfillment. I have come to realize that when a true prophecy is given (especially one that has to do with destiny), it is not just meant to be stored in a place until its manifestation. The reason is because we live in a wicked world and the manifestation may never come unless the prophecy has been birthed and nurtured at the place of prayer.
In Daniel 9:2, the Bible says Daniel understood by books a certain prophecy that had been given by Jeremiah, but in verse 3 the Bible says "he set his face unto the Lord to seek by prayer and supplication...". This is exactly what we are doing this month.
Through records and testimonies of great intercessors (coupled with the inner witness of the Holy Spirit), I wish to present to you the following prophetic utterances about Nigeria. If your spirit agrees with them (in other words, if you also experience the inner witness of the Holy Spirit), please pray along with us and I believe that something great will come out of it.

1. In year 2000, intercessors from all over the world gathered in South Africa and God spoke expressly to them that in 10 years time (2010), Africa would be the foremost continent in the world. This implies that Africa will arise from some hopeless situations (my own summary of the long list that was posted) and shine!
2. Although this first prophecy is for the whole Africa, Nigeria can significantly identify with it due to the following reasons:

Nigeria has been prophetically identified as the star/Judah of Africa.
The prophetic symbol of Africa as a pistol and Nigeria, strategically located at its trigger point, has been used several times to describe God's plan for Nigeria in His divine calendar.
This is very timing for Nigeria because the tenth year (2010) happens to be our year of jubilee.
3. The church in Nigeria

The church in Nigeria is to prepare other nations for the second coming of Jesus
The church in Nigeria is to spearhead the highway of revival from Africa through Middle East to Israel.
The church in Nigeria is the arrow to destroy the spirit of Ishmael in the world.
4. In 2002, during another meeting in South America, the Lord said to Nigeria:

I have given you a missionary spirit and I am surely going to change the nations of the earth through you. But now, I will give you the anointing to change your nation.
I am going to begin to unravel the corrupt system in Nigeria and men will say it is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
I am going to use Nigeria to heal the rest of Africa because what happens in Nigeria will affect the whole continent.
I am going to make a SHIFT and there will come a day, violence will no longer be heard in the streets of Nigeria; and it will be the safest nation on the face of the earth.
5. God's eyes on Nigerian Presidency (2006) - This is particularly interesting to me because when it was given in 2006, people must have been looking forward to the 2007 election as an answer to Nigerians' prayer, but God's message was very clear.

Whoever sits on the throne as the president of Nigeria must bear the glory of God, otherwise, the person shall be cut off and not complete his tenure as the president.
There is a sword over the seat of Nigerian presidency. Whoever sits on it that bears the glory shall be used to execute the Lord's judgment. But if the person does not bear the glory, the sword of the Lord shall execute judgment over the person.
The seat has been charged to fulfill prophetic mandate, therefore, whoever sits on it has to understand the prophetic handwriting of God over Nigeria.
6. Bro.Gbile's testimony
Sometimes around 1987, Bro. Gbile was concerned about the condition of our nation; he prayed to God to give him 20 years to raise godly leaders for revival, restoration and transformation. He was surprised to see that God took Him by his word and gave His approval, that was why he started his leadership training program. At exactly 20 years, God reminded him of his prayer request and said, "although you do not yet have enough people for this assignment, I cannot delay any longer, I have to move on with my plan" (paraphrased). This is another clear indication that God Himself is ready to work!

PRAYER POINTS
1. Nigeria is due for divine visitation. Pray that God will visit us this year, shake the nation and do the unusual. (Please read Exodus 34:10 and use it to pray.)
2. Let us wage war against every demonic power that has seen the glory of Nigeria and is therefore working to prevent, counter or destroy God's plans for the nation. Let us rain God's judgment upon them; pray that the fire and the sword of the Lord will go after them to destroy them.
3. Let us come against the spirit of corruption in the name of Jesus. Decree that his tenure in Nigeria has expired, bind him in the name of Jesus and destroy his influence over the nation with fire.
4. Pray that God will release upon us the anointing to change our nation and let the change begin now!
5. Pray for the healing of our nation, physically, spiritually, economically, socially, morally and in all other areas (2 Chro. 7:14). Decree that this healing shall flow to other nations of the world.
6. Pray that God will light a CANDLE in Nigeria that cannot be obscured or put out. Decree that the glory of God will rise upon Nigeria and cause her to arise and begin to fulfill her God-given destiny. Isaiah 60:1
7. According to the word of God, let us come against violence in our nation; let us pull down his stronghold and speak peace, comfort and safety to our nation. Isaiah 60:18
8. The church in Nigeria is already manifesting the missionary spirit but unfortunately, due to the condition of our nation, we sometimes send out wrong ( or mixed) messages. Nehemiah 4:10 describes our situation: "The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish". Please pray for he church in Nigeria, ask God to take away the rubbish and the decay. Ask God to build and empower His church to fulfill His counsel at this time.
9. Let us secure the seat of Nigerian presidency with the blood of Jesus. Cancel every influence of the kingdom of darkness and the spirit of the bondwoman over it and pray that God Himself will fill the seat with a bearer of His glory.
10. Finally, let us all decree in unity: "Yes Lord, let it be unto Nigeria according to your words" (according to all these prophetic declarations).
